Quake4 Map Aerowalk (Revised)

This version for Quake 4 was made by mnemjc and optimized by zhakal. It is based on Preacher’s Quake 3 version of the map.
It has been scaled and some areas have been changed a bit to fit the overall gameplay of Quake 4, hence the revised.
The map has also been re-textured with Quake 4′s base textures and relit to highlight the features of the game.

This is a final version of this map, but please provide some feedback after testing the map.

House of decay (Revised) Beta 1

This beta 1 version for Quake 4 was made based on the Quake Live version of the map.
It has been scaled by 40 percent and some areas have been changed to fit the overall gameplay of Quake 4.
The map has also been re-textured with custom made textures, and relit to highlight Quake 4′s features.

As it is a beta, it has issues and things not fully done. Please provide some feedback after testing the map.

A revised version of Threewave’s q3wxs1 made by mnemjc for Quake 4 is released.

This map is set in an icy cavern theme.
Players: 4-8 players (recommended)
Gametypes: DM, FFA, TDM, CTF, 1FCTF

We hosting another Quake 4 Duel Cup on Sunday 16th May starting at 15:00 CET. This 13th cup will feature bo3 over a double elimination bracket system.

* Mappool: Monsoon – Torment – Phrantic – Placebo – Galang – Cobalt, Ruiner, or what you want if both opponents agree

Quake 4 Duel Cup #12 Update Results

Hi all fellow Quakers.
It took a bit of time to organisate the next spontan cup, but time was needed because we are now ready to upgrade the cup script. Its now more faster and easier to handle (we hope so) and now we wanna test it. Visible epic changes can you see on the right site navigation, the new cup boxes with more infos and quick links in there.

We are going on with another Quake 4 Cup, called 1v1 good-bye-to-q4max cup, starting on Sunday next weekend.
This will be very probably last cup with the q4max mod. Because GTR mod is rolling to us very soon now approximately in the next weeks and we will switch our cups and our pickup games to the gtr mod.

We are happy to announce another Quake 4 pickup server, IP: 195.82.159.156:27950 Q4MAX Mod – 12 Slots, Server location: Germany/FFM

Its a Private server so u can NOT connect freely, its just for our pickup games (private matches). Feel free to join our channel #spontanq4ctf @ qnet and !add up for funny games.
Maps can u get automatically by simple connectiing to the server. The Mod can you get from q4max.com or from our filebase.

Spontan Cup Page Ready to Rumble

We now ready with our Cup page. This was in the past our old spontan community site. We rebuild it up and removed all stuff execpt the cup part. The result is now a pure Cupsite where you can signup for any Quake 4 and Quakelive Tournaments. We started with Q4 Duel and Q4CTF Cup and the signup phase has now started.

wünscht Euch das Spontan Team. Wir verabschieden uns für dieses Jahr und gehen langsam aber sicher in den wohlverdienten Weihnachtsurlaub.

In den nächsten Tagen wird es hier daher auch etwas ruhiger zugehen.

Wir melden uns dann anfang Januar 2010 in alter Frische und mit der hoffentlich üblichen Menge News und anderem Zeuchs zurück.

Bis dahin wünschen wir Euch ein geruhsames, stressfreies und vielleicht auch ein bisschen besinnliches Weihnachtsfest, sowie einen guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr 2010.

Gleichzeitig möchten wir uns bei Euch bedanken für die Treue und Aufmerksamkeit, die ihr wiedermal spontangames.com im vergangenen Jahr entgegen gebracht habt und freuen uns, auch im kommenden Jahr für Euch da sein zu dürfen, mit mehr Events und allem was dazugehört soweit unsere Freizeit und Arbeit das zulässt.

Greeting’s Gamer’s
After playing / working a hole year it’s time to leave 2009 behind us !
I hope u had allot of good time’s ,What i have seen this year what i was suprised about is that :
-we had allot of pickup game’s ( #spontanq4ctf ) ! even some cups where going on , what still need to finish

-quake4 is still not dead ( some people say’s it, but its deffently NOT )

- Chako our Spontan Leader , still care about q4 !
he still rents server’s for us so we can play our game’s..caus other server’s
still have a old version like ( 1.0 ore 1.3 BASE ) and we use 1.4.2.
so i wanna give my big thanks to chako ! caus hes the one who keeps the site updated / server avaible and he keeps the game running by this.
We have some statistics for you, our site reached in the last days a whopping 150.000 page views in the last 3 years and we got now over 600 registered users aswell.

And now I am not gonna talk about the bad things we past this year
i prefer to let them in the year 2009, caus its more important to us whats gonna happen in the future then in the past.

for now lets dance one more time and celebrete 2009
caus tomorrow we are gonna start a new year with allot of games money and plenty sex.
