What is GTR:
GTR (GameType Revolution) is a versatile Quake 4 modification that aims to make the game more enjoyable, and it’s developement will never be limited with a ruleset such as “VQ4″ (Basic Quake 4).Some of the changes are:
* Lots of Gameplay Features
* New Gametypes (1F_CTF, FT, DZ)
* Gamemodes (GTR, GPM (like Q3 CPM Promode, XSV)
* Better Performance
* New graphic shaders
* Enhanced Q4 feeling
* Tweaks and Options to make Q4 look better
* Lots of HUD features
* Custom Models & Coolskins
* GTR Water: Adding of water support with sound, physics and drowning possibilities.
* and new Maps
In the downloads – quake4 – config’s section u can find a config for gtr what u can download what fits the best to the gtr mod for now.
it’s not made by the makers them self’s but by player’s.
u can get some troubles with the gtr mod , but for that we have a link where u can report the bugs or error’s. u can make a own account and report it to them.
