Why ? For different reasons.

Let me write it in one or two simple sentences.
At first for me I have no longer not so much time and ambition to manage the page (mostly alone) which is based on Joomla. Its a real huge and complicated content management system (cms) totally overloaded and not made for people which have less knowledge like my spontan team except me I guess, sorry :P

I changed now  to a simple and more easier to understand “cms” that is fast to learn and easy to handle. If I’m longer away, then the spontan team should be able to manage the site alone like news writing or something else.
Further in the future this page shall only present many usefull stuff like tutorials for Quakelive and Quake 4  Pickup stuff like rules, and less news from outer quake world except when we have news from our spontan community self,  and I would say for this project is those actual “cms” now the best solution for all.

I hope whole Quake Community agree with me and maybe you have time or more time and fun to help us in any things here, please bring experiences thenyou are welcome anddont be shy register to the new site and contact us to get a contribtution.
