Quick Start, what is needed if you want to use a real irc programm:
Step 1: Download mirc from www.mirc.com and install it.
Step 2: Google for “No Name Script”
Step 3: Click Link
Step 4: Go to Downloads
Step 5: Now to run mirc with the no name script you must download both programs and install MIRC FIRST.
Once MIRC is installed you may then install No Name Script. (no pictures you should know how to install programs). Incase you need
to know.. right click the program then click open. Select run, hit next a bunch of times till you see finish 
Step 6: First thing you need to do is put in your account information so click tools then options.
Step 7: Now click on the connect tab and fill in the appropriate information.
Step 8: Now here select servers then decide which server you would like to connect to then hit select.
Now you should have that server selected to join.
Step 9: Now go to options then perform.
Step 10: Now go to options then perform. Make sure you check the option to enable perform on a connect this will make it so when you
join a channel on connect without having to do it manually.
Step 11: Now NNS has some cool features like automatically putting in your auth settings (which will enable you to view channels that
require authentication). Go to No Name Script, then set up.
Step 12: Now you can select your server and put the necessary info in.

So make sure you have something like this..
